- English 11 Honors Contemporary Issues in Education (for students who are considering becoming teachers)
- English 11 Theatre Production (for students interested in theatre)
- AP Language and Composition (offered at 11th and 12th grade)
- AP Language and Literature (offered at 11th and 12th grade)
- English 12 Expository Reading and Writing Curriculum (ERWC) (Semester 1 course for those taking 1A in the Spring)
- English 12 Rhetoric and Composition (concurrent college course English 1A offered in the Spring to qualifying ERWC)
- English 12 Film as Literature
- English 12 Theatre Production (for students interested in theatre)
- English 12 Careers in Education (for students who are considering becoming teachers)
In addition to these classes, we offer the following support classes:
- English 180 (for 9th and 10th students who need extra support with the core English content)

- Experiences in Literature (for 11th and 12th students who need extra support with the core English content)
The English Department is committed to teaching students skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking that will serve them in their lives after high school whether that be in college, trade school, or career. Students should speak with their English teacher and/or counselor to get more information on the variety of courses that we offer in the English department.
