*Seniors: You should schedule your senior yearbook portrait with Milne Photography or have a session scheduled before August 17, 2026.
If you have not taken your portrait or do not have a session scheduled, please call Milne Photography immediately at 559-431-0681 to arrange your session. Shirts, ties and jackets are available for your use at the studio. Your portrait must be in CUSD dress code or it will not be published in the book.

Congratulations! Your student is now a senior and will be featured in the Clovis West yearbook with a color portrait in the senior section. Please note, only photos taken by Milne Photography will be accepted for inclusion in the senior section of the yearbook. These are formal portraits and student attire must meet the standards outlined below. In order for your student’s photo to appear in the yearbook, these attire guidelines MUST be followed. Any photograph that reflects a violation of these standards will result in your student’s picture being excluded from the senior section of the yearbook. On the second page, you will find additional information from Milne Photography to help you, and your student prepare for the Senior Yearbook Photography Session. Please follow the instructions provided to schedule your student’s appointment.
Attire Must be Formal:
- Blouses/dresses MUST HAVE a 2-inch minimum strap. Necklines need to be appropriate, and no low cut, off the shoulder, or cut-out-tops or blouses. If blouses are sheer, a top that meets dress code standards must be layered underneath.
- A suit coat, collard dress shirt, and a tie.
- You may wear a suit with a dress shirt and tie or blouse, if desired.
- Facial hair must be clean and neatly groomed and not cause undue attention.
- Hair that causes undo attention is not acceptable, e.g., unusual designs, colors, symbols, messages, mohawks, Faux-Hawks, or unusual razor cuts. Bangs or other hairstyles may not obstruct nor interfere with vision.
- No hats, headbands, or sunglasses allowed.
- You may wear your letterman jacket with a dress shirt and tie or blouse.
- Piercing jewelry is acceptable in the ears only. Piercing jewelry that is intended to alter the natural shape of the ear is prohibited. Other body piercing jewelry (e.g., piercings in the eyebrows, nose, lips, tongue) is not acceptable. Distracting jewelry, including piercing jewelry that draws undue attention, is not allowed.
- Tattoos, permanent or temporary, must be covered.
- All clothing, jewelry and personal items shall be free of writing, pictures, or any other insignia which are crude, vulgar, profane, or sexually suggestive; shall not bear drug, alcohol, or tobacco company advertising, promotions or likenesses; shall not promote violence, illegal activity, or relate to gang affiliation or activity; and shall not advocate racial, religious, or sexual orientation prejudice.

Clovis West High School SENIOR OFF-CAMPUS PASS
Seniors will be able to leave off campus during lunch beginning, Monday, August 31st.
Passes will be processed the first two weeks of school. Seniors will not be able to leave off campus the first two weeks of school.The senior student has permission to go off campus during the lunch period as authorized by the Clovis Unified School District Board of Trustees.
We understand that this off-campus may be revoked at any time for any or all students at the discretion of the school administration.
Underclassmen may not accompany seniors off-campus during the lunch period.Any senior wanting to leave campus during the lunch period must turn in this completed off-campus permission form signed by their parent/guardian and by the student. Seniors who turn in this form and are granted permission to participate in Off Campus Lunch will receive a special ID card that must be shown to school personnel as they leave campus.
Seniors who are leaving campus at lunch must do the following:- Have their ID card with them.
- STOP at the gate and show their ID card to school staff member.
- Cars must come to a complete stop in order to have ID Cards checked.
- If there are additional students in the car, they must also show their ID cards.
- Students who do not have their ID card will not be allowed to leave campus.
- Seniors who attempt to leave campus with an underclassman or another senior who does not have permission to leave during lunch will have their Senior Lunch rescinded.
- Seniors are not allowed to remain in their cars in the school parking lot during lunch. Once they return to school they should proceed to the interior of the campus.
- Seniors who park on Millbrook Ave. are required to cross at the crosswalk on Cole and Millbrook. “J- walking” may be cause to lose Senior lunch privilege.
- Any senior who is failing a class, not in good standing, has excessive absenteeism, or who has been placed on non-privilege status may have their off campus lunch privilege rescinded.
- Please note that any senior who earned an “F” in a class the previous semester or had an absenteeism rate higher that 10% will not be granted permission to leave campus for the first six weeks of the next semester. In order to obtain permission, they must complete this form, be passing all classes, have acceptable attendance, and meet with the Learning Director in charge of Student Services.

The 2027 Senior Handbook provides a timeline and descriptions with upcoming events, banquets, celebrations and activities leading up to the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2027 on Wednesday, June 2nd 2027.
Deputy Principal, Mr. Matt Loggins, will review the handbook with all seniors on November 16th, 2026 during their Econ/Gov. Class.
The Senior Expectation Agreement & Graduation Contract MUST be signed by both the Senior and a Parent or Guardian. The contract is DUE to the Deputy Principals Office on Friday, December 11th, 2026.
We expect all of our Seniors to act responsibly and in a mature manner. It is a privilege to participate in extra Senior Activities.

Graduation is an exciting event to honor our graduates. Our graduates are expected to behave in a manner that respects the formality of the ceremony. We ask the same of our community.
- Gates open at 6:00P.
- All spectators will have to enter through the evolve security system.
- The ceremony is free to all. Tickets are not required.
- There is no saving seats in the stadium. Every seat has a wonderful view of our graduates.
- No balloons, umbrellas, signs, noise makers are allowed into the stadium. These items will be confiscated at the gate.
- Water bottles will be sold at concessions. No ice chests allowed. You may bring in small water bottles.
- Handicap-accessible seating is available on both sides of the stadium. First come first serve handicap seating.
- Handicap parking is available off Nees Street with official handicap placard visible.
- California law prohibits the use of tobacco products, including vaping or electronic smoling devices on public school facilities. The usse of these devices is not permitted anywhere in the stadium.
