The 2025 Senior Activities Handbook provides a timeline and descriptions with upcoming events, banquets, celebrations and activities leading up to the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 on Thursday, June 5^th, 2025.

The Senior Expectation Agreement & Graduation Contract including in this handbook, MUST be signed by both the Senior and a Parent or Guardian.  The contract can be accessed here or is available in the front office.  The contract is DUE to the Deputy Principals Office on Monday, May 19^th, 2025.

We expect all of our Seniors to act responsibly and in a mature manner.  It is a privilege to participate in extra Senior Activities.

Senior Finals will be on Thursday, May 22^nd and Friday, May 23^rd, 2025

Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 is on Thursday, June 5th, 2025 at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
Processional will begin at 7:15P
Ceremony will be at 7:30P
(Gates open at 6:00P)

We are excited to inform you that our seniors get the opportunity to go to Disney’s California Adventure for Grad Nite 2025 on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025.  Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  The last day to purchase a Grad Nite ticket will be Sunday, March 2nd. Each ticket is $280.00 which includes transportation and the ticket into the park.  Students will be responsible to bring money for dinner.  

Attached is the permission slip that must be completed! Please complete by Friday, May 2nd, 2025. 

Students have three options for purchasing:

1. Option 1: Online at the Clovis West online store
2. Option 2: Bring cash to the Activities Office in the K Building.
3. Option 3: Bring a check made out to Clovis Unified School District to the Activities Office in the K Building.

Return to your roots on THURSDAY, MAY 29th, 2025, visit old teachers, and march for the first time in your cap and gown.  
Senior students in good standing have the opportunity to visit their elementary schools for a final walk through in their cap and gown as Clovis West graduates.  This event last approximately 30 minutes.
Meet in the main parking lot at your elementary school.
Dress code will be enforced.

Baccalaureate is Sunday, June 1^st, 2025

Clovis West High School SENIOR OFF-CAMPUS PASS 
Parent Permission Request:

The student named below has permission to go off campus during the lunch period as authorized by the Clovis Unified School District Board of Trustees.
We understand that this off-campus may be revoked at any time for any or all students at the discretion of the school administration.
Underclassmen may not accompany seniors off-campus during the lunch period.

Any senior wanting to leave campus during the lunch period must turn in this completed off-campus permission form signed by their parent/guardian and by the student. Seniors who turn in this form and are granted permission to participate in Off Campus Lunch will receive a special ID card that must be shown to school personnel as they leave campus.
Seniors who are leaving campus at lunch must do the following:

1.    Have their ID card with them.
2.    STOP at the gate and show their ID card to school staff member.
3.    Cars must come to a complete stop in order to have ID Cards checked.
4.    If there are additional students in the car, they must also show their ID cards.
5.    Students who do not have their ID card will not be allowed to leave campus.

•    Seniors who attempt to leave campus with an underclassman or another senior who does not have permission to leave during lunch will have their Senior Lunch rescinded.
•    Seniors are not allowed to remain in their cars in the school parking lot during lunch. Once they return to school they should proceed to the interior of the campus.
•    Seniors who park on Millbrook Ave. are required to cross at the crosswalk on Cole and Millbrook. “J- walking” may be cause to lose Senior lunch privilege.
•    Any senior who is failing a class, not in good standing, has excessive absenteeism, or who has been placed on non-privilege status may have their off campus lunch privilege rescinded.
•    Please note that any senior who earned an “F” in a class the previous semester or had an absenteeism rate higher that 10% will not be granted permission to leave campus for the first six weeks of the next semester. In order to obtain permission, they must complete this form, be passing all classes, have acceptable attendance, and meet with the Learning Director in charge of Student Services.

*Seniors:  You should have already taken your senior yearbook portrait with Milne Photography or have a session scheduled before August 19.  If you have not taken your portrait or do not have a session scheduled, please call Milne Photography immediately at 559-431-0681 to arrange your session.  Shirts, ties and jackets are available for your use at the studio. Your portrait must be in CUSD dress code or it will not be published in the book. 
 
ONLY professional portraits taken at Milne Photography will be used in the senior section of the yearbook.
